Yong'an is a city of about 135,000 inhabitants about 120 miles southeast of Fuzhou. There have been only a few international adoptions from this orphanage.

About Yong'an

This city is located on the Sha River. A major highway and an important railway line both run through the city. The area is rich in timber resources. It is also well-known for its scenic tourist destinations, including some impressive caves, Linying Stone Forest, and the Tianbaoyan (Sky Treasure Rock) Natural Reserve.
